Romancing the Home for the Month of June, we embrace the Masculine.
Hi Friends, shew another week! It is almost time for my overseas trip and I am so so excited! I feel like a spoilt brat!!! Yes, I am spoilt…
London, Sicily, and Prague!
However, I am feeling under the weather and trying to nurse myself back to full health before our trip on the 10th. So this blog will be short and sweet.
Seeing as though I shared my girl’s bathroom reno that was ultra Feminine, click here to check out the full blog This is what I did with the other bathroom. My husband uses this room the most so I thought let me be “kind” and make this a more modern space that has masculine elements.
The mood board above is a great way to get a good feel of what the room will look like in the end, I suggest doing this with any upcoming reno or makeover. It makes all the difference. As you can see there are elements of gold, bras, grey and some fresh garden green.
This bathroom was just awful!!! It was BROWN!!!! with flowers…Really!!!! Who on earth thought that was a good idea. From the day we bought the house I said to my hubby, “I’m the first one to take a hammer to this bathroom” and I did!
The bathroom now is just stunning with beautiful hexagon concrete look tiles with a glass shower wall. The vintage mirror adds my little touch.
Talia from My Shabby Shack helped me build this beautiful custom Vanity. I added a white slab of pro quartz tone to the top.
The privacy wall with water feature is filled with ferns and white ice-burg rose. This give the illusion of the room being bigger than what it is.
Both my bathrooms were featured in the “Bathroom Edition of Tuis/Home Mag
Until next time…stay warm!!! Winter is certainly on its way!
