You got to love family traditions, every year sinc

You got to love family traditions, every year since I can remember Good Friday has always been a day of tradition, mass with “the stations of the cross”and onto my aunts house for traditional Lebanese cuisine. As the years have passed it moved to my moms house and last year in lock down we were all separated. I felt such a longing for my family, spinach’s “Leb pies” as we know it made me feel less lonely. So I tried to make them last year for the first time. This year was easier, and so it goes. It’s a funny thing about traditions hOw they can emboldened such nostalgia. I felt blessed that this year I was able to be with the most special people in my life.

Yum!!! First time I have ever made clafoutis...definitely not the last! This was such a simple recipe and it tastes better than it looks!
Cooking in @lecreusetsa cast iron makes all the difference.

Wish the house could always look this clean... hosting Easter at my house this year... holding on to treasured family moments every chance I get. Spent most of Saturday and Sunday cooking up a storm with my mom. Home made lasagna is on the menu for Easter Lunch.

So today marks a year! Happy birthday Bob! Bob as been a firm fav lock down habit in my household...
however guilty as charged, I’m in a bit of a sump at the moment, no bob for weeks and taking a little social media break, in general slowing down a bit... everything has a season... I’ll be back soon with some new content... working on a pretty Easter table Scape that ill share soon... a little late, I’m sorry! 🤦🏻‍♀️

Iv started a collection of vintage tureens in silver and white, love the look of them. But they super practical too. I often use them fir flowers, bulbs and of course lunches at my house...

My love for dishes and beautiful armoires have no bounds... I’ve had my eye on this beauty for two years... “do I get it or don’t I??? “ until...

I started working with the most wonderful client on an update on her French inspired home and our mutual love for this armoire prompted me to finally having it in my home!!! She got two!
In fact it was an anniversary gift from my hubby.
I knew the perfect spot for it and what it would hold.
Love it’s chippy charm and authentic look. Not common to find reproductions with such character... and yes I have absolutely filled it up with just the things I had. 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have another piece that I’ll share on my stories. I was gifted a sweet piece of furniture that also requires some tlc and some painting... could be nice spending the weekend painting furniture... I find it pretty relaxing
